Realme has just launched their flagship devices in China, the Realme GT8 and Realme GT8 Pro. The both of them look more unique than regular smartphones and offer notable upgrades over their previous models. However, this article will be about the Realme GT8, where we will discuss all the details about the device as well as the Realme GT8 price in Nepal.

Realme GT8 Overview

Design and display

At first glance, you will notice the changes Realme has made regarding the GT8. We can notice a robot-style back camera module, which is swappable but only in the Pro version. This one will only be a circular module.

The material used is also “paper-like recycled leather,” which is actually made of silicone leather. Other than that, it receives IP66/IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance but now is immersible up to 2 m for 30 mins.

Realme GT8 color options and rear view

Color options include white, navy, and green, as seen above.

The Realme GT8 also has an LTPO AMOLED while offering QHD+ resolution. It also receives a slight upgrade to a 144 Hz refresh rate. This device can also reach a maximum of 2000 nits in HBM and a massive 4000 nits of peak brightness.

Performance and battery

The Realme GT8 gets powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and although the Pro version gets the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, this is still an upgrade from the Mediatek Dimensity 9400+. The Snapdragon processor is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

It also boots in Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.

Interestingly, we see a downgrade in charging speed from a 120W to just 100W. Nevertheless, it is still has a battery capacity of 7,000 mAh. Realme also claims that the device is able to get to 100% in just 45 minutes.

Realme GT8 camera powered by Ricoh GR

Powered by the Ricoh GR, the cameras have reached Ricoh GR camera-level optical standards. Which comes with double AR coating as well as a 5-layer ultra-low anti-reflective mirror, resulting in only 0.2% reflectivity.
