This phone sports specs similar to those seen in Realme smartphones launched earlier.

Realme is expanding its Narzo series with the Realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G as the all-new member. Realme boasts the Dimensity 6300 chip alongside a 7000mAh battery in this new smartphone, a direct successor to the Narzo 80 Lite 5G. But these specs sound so similar to those of the Realme P4 Lite 5G and Realme C83 5G, which were launched in March with no major changes but at lower prices. In this article, I will discuss the Realme Narzo 100 Lite's specifications, availability, and expected price in Nepal in detail.
Realme Narzo 100 Lite Overview
Performance and Software
As I mentioned earlier, the Realme Narzo 100 Lite has the same entry-level, mid-range 5G MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm processor that we saw in the smartphone launch by Realme in March. Here, this guy gives you an extra 5,300 mm^2 airflow VC cooling system to ensure stable phone operation during multitasking. This phone can handle 4 to 5 apps jumping very smoothly with this chip, but if more than 10 apps are open in the background, you may experience slightly slower loading.

Likewise, games like PUBG and Free Fire on this phone are decent and smooth enough, but switching to high-graphics games like Genshin Impact might not be as smooth as you expect and may crash during gameplay. Memory-wise, this phone offers up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, which is expandable via a microSD card.
On the software side, Realme Narzo 100 Lite runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, offering premium AI-driven performance and power efficiency. Moreover, I don't see any details about upgrades, but you can expect up to 3 major OS updates and up to 3 years of security patches, like its predecessors.
Design and Display
Moving to the build, this phone uses a plastic body and is slightly bulkier with 8.4mm thickness than its predecessor, Narzo 80 Lite 5G. The camera panel at the back feels much cleaner and looks nice with a 3-camera ring setup in a vertical orientation, along with LED Flash. Though the punch hole that we saw in its predecessor has gone and is replaced by a quite outdated waterdrop notch design. Since this device comes with an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-801H compliance, durability is no longer a concern.

Regarding the display, this phone has a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio, giving you maximum viewing area. Also, scrolling on this phone is smoother and more fluid, thanks to its 144Hz refresh rate, which is extremely rare in a budget phone. Similarly, it has a 900-nit HBM mode, which is especially useful when you're scrolling social media in sunlight or watching videos while sitting near a window on a sunny day. But the visuals in this phone are okay with just HD+ resolution.

Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, it features a 3-lens setup, but only the 13MP rear camera is functional. Though this phone is said to have other sensors as well, the role of that sensor remains undisclosed. At the front, this phone has a 5MP selfie camera. It is quite disappointing to see a downgrade from the 32MP and 8MP sensors we saw on the Narzo 80 Lite 5G.

The major highlight of this phone is its massive 7000mAh Si/C Li-ion battery, which is said to last a day or two on casual use. Here, they offer you 15W charging support, along with bypass charging and reverse-wired charging. If you are looking for a budget phone that offers all-day battery life and decent gaming, this might be a good option for you.
