The RedMagic 11 Pro is the only smartphone you need if you care about absolute gaming performance. It's got everything top-notch from a 144Hz display, active cooling, gaming triggers, and gaming features baked into the software. Cameras are not its strength, but it's totally understandable.
The past week was exciting. If you ask me why, I got to spend time with a gaming beast. Which is a no-nonsense, all-about-gaming guy. I’m talking about the RedMagic 11 Pro, which was recently unveiled in Nepal at 164,999 rupees. I know it’s expensive, but the pre-booking offer with a free gamepad makes up for it. There’s a 5K discount if you purchase it through the provided link. There’s also an EMI option starting from 40%, which makes it a bit more accessible.
By the way, it’s also the first flagship gaming phone to officially launch in Nepal, and it brings something very unique to the table—a liquid cooling system, which Nubia claims is the first of its kind in a mass-production smartphone. Let's dive into our RedMagic 11 Pro Review.

RedMagic 11 Pro Review:
Total Gaming Vibes
Right from the unboxing experience, the phone speaks gaming in a loud voice. It feels premium and clearly designed with gamers in mind. I can say it’s a strong sci-fi movie vibe, especially with the LED lighting on the back and even on the shoulder triggers. One of the most interesting parts is the cooling system. Alongside a built-in fan, the RedMagic 11 Pro integrates a real liquid cooling solution. There are air vents for the fan, and when I started gaming with the cooling system turned on, I could actually see the coolant flowing at the back of the phone. This isn't something you see on regular smartphones; it looks dope and slick.
Well, that’s not all. There’s also a dedicated Game Space switch that instantly launches gaming mode. And even the pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers feature a 520Hz touch sampling rate. Which is super responsive!
And with all this, the RedMagic 11 Pro provides instant in-game action reactions. On top of that, the phone offers 4D vibration feedback with improved haptics, which already works in games like PUBG and is expected to expand to more titles.
Besides those gaming cosmetics, I can say the phone is sturdy as well. Nubia has used aviation-grade aluminum here and an IPX8 rating. But there is no dust resistance here. Well, it’s understandable with the vents and fans continuously blowing air while gaming.
Display
The display is another major highlight. Because of the under-display camera, there’s no notch at all, which means you get a completely seamless viewing experience with symmetrical bezels. Just looking at it, anyone can tell that it’s a top-notch panel. I loved its brightness and overall display quality. And not to mention, you get a 300Hz touch sampling rate here, so everything feels snappy and responsive. Besides gaming, it's superb for content watching as well.

Gaming is the language it speaks!
In terms of performance, the RedMagic 11 Pro doesn’t disappoint at all. It’s got the power of a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Soc. I compared it with the other top dogs, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max (review). And the results are pretty impressive. The RedMagic 11 Pro can deliver higher FPS and a 5% improvement in low-performance settings.

After 1 hour of Gaming (PUBG Mobile- Smooth, 120FPS)
| Device | Front Temperature | Back temperature | Avg FPS | 5% Low |
| S26 Ultra | 40.6 | 39.4 | 118.3 | 113.8 |
| iPhone 17 Pro Max | 39.4 | 38.6 | 118.6 | |
| Redmagic 11 Pro | 38.7 | 38 | 119.8 | 118.2 |
(Do note:- Perfdog test on iPhone doesn't reveal 5% low)

After 30 min of Genshin Impact (Highest, 60FPS):
| Device | Front Temperature | Back temperature | Avg FPS | 5% Low |
| S26 Ultra | 40 | 39.2 | 59.1 | 56.4 |
| Redmagic 11 Pro | 38.4 | 38 | 59.6 | 58.3 |
With a cooling solution like no other phone, the phone maintained a lower internal temperature even after an hour of gaming. I’m talking of a combo of a cooling fan, liquid cooling, and a large vapor chamber. The phone's outer surface feels slightly warm. But on a brighter note, the system's performance stays stable, and there’s no noticeable throttling.
Game Space
And I have to talk about the Game Space feature. It serves as an in-game overlay that displays real-time stats such as FPS and CPU/GPU frequencies. So, if you love seeing stats, there you go! I can also tweak settings like screen sensitivity, touch sampling rate, and even adjust the fan speed directly while gaming.
Another interesting feature is Gravity X, which lets me map external devices such as controllers, keyboards, and mice to on-screen controls. This works right out of the box and can actually give a competitive advantage in certain games.

There’s also RedMagic Studio, a Windows application that lets me screencast the phone to a PC either wirelessly or via USB. The pairing process is simple, and I can create custom control profiles for different games. The keyboard and mouse input feel accurate and responsive as well.
Wait, there is more!
The phone even includes a personal AI coach called Mora, which provides real-time strategy advice during gameplay. It can also predict win rates for selected games such as MLBB, Free Fire, and PUBG. Cool right?

For gaming, the best part here is the support for 144 FPS and even 2K resolution through forced upscaling. And not to mention the frame interpolation in games like Genshin Impact, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Fortnite, Honkai: Star Rail, Wuthering Waves, and League of Legends: Wild Rift. In my experience, using a gamepad in battle royale games can feel slightly delayed, but in racing games like Asphalt or Real Racing, the gameplay feels smooth with no noticeable lag.
Cameras
As for the camera, it’s pretty basic. It gets the job done, but it’s clearly not the focus of this device. It doesn’t take bad photos in my opinion, but it nowhere comes close to a flagship phone.

Daylight
In broad light, we can notice some color shifts between the main and ultrawide cameras. Details are fine and decent, but it's not that exceptional.
Portraits and Selfies
The under-display unit can shoot fine selfies in daylight. But skin smoothing is imminent. Meanwhile, the portraits are decent. The lack of a telephoto lens is a bummer, but it's a gaming phone, so we can let that slide!
Battery
When it comes to battery, the RedMagic 11 Pro packs a massive 7500mAh battery. It can last for 1.5 days with moderate use. In my testing, I was able to play games continuously for about 4 hours. To top it up, it also supports 80W wired and 80W wireless charging. So, there is nothing to complete here.

RedMagic 11 Pro Review: Conclusion
If you care and only care about gaming, you can never go wrong with the RedMagic 11 Pro. It's, after all, a gamer's dream phone! A top-notch performance, gaming triggers, and a great cooling solution, what else can you ask for? All that in a 144Hz seamless display, I don't think you need anything more than this! One thing, if you care about cameras, it's just decent, but that really shouldn't be a gamer's concern.
