Xiaomi Redmi's midrange lineup has always been one of the best-selling and also one of the most popular smartphones this decade. And while being affordable they have also been able to push other companies to become more competitive. Following the market, their newly launched Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G, which was recently launched in Poland, also continues that tradition. The phone brings some meaningful upgrades over last year's Note 14 Pro 4G, which includes a brighter display, a beefier battery, and an improved camera system with optical zoom, among other things. Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G Overview

Design and Display

Xiaomi has kept this thing relatively slim and light at 7.96mm and 195g while making it available in three finishes: Black, Glacier Blue, and Titanium. Build quality has improved too, with an IP65 rating that protects against dust and water splashes. That's a step up from the Note 14 Pro 4G's IP54 rating.

Now coming to display, you're looking at a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection with the peak brightness of 3,200 nits. There's also 3840Hz PWM dimming, which helps you use the device, especially protecting from eye strain-related problems.

Performance

The Note 15 Pro 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200-Ultra, which is built on a 6nm process. This is a newer and more powerful chipset compared to what the previous generation offered, and it should definitely handle stuff like light gaming more easily. Similarly, you're getting 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM paired with 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The phone runs Android 15 with HyperOS 2 on top, and Xiaomi's packed in Google Gemini integration along with various AI utilities. Security-wise, there's an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

Camera System

The Note 15 Pro 4G features a dual rear camera system led by a 200MP main sensor with OIS and 4x optical zoom. That optical zoom is new for the Redmi Note series in this segment, and it's definitely a welcome addition for someone like me who likes taking images of distant subjects. The second camera is an 8MP ultrawide.

Now, compared to its predecessor, you're actually losing the dedicated macro camera, but honestly speaking, macro is not even a serious camera to begin with. Meanwhile, the 4x optical zoom is far more practical for regular use. For selfies, there's a 32MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

Battery and Charging

This is probably the biggest upgrade on the Note 15 Pro 4G. Xiaomi's managed to fit in a massive 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is larger than the standard Note 15's 6,000mAh cell. The charging speed is rated at 45W, which would get you from 0 to 100% in around an hour or so.

The Note 15 Pro 4G comes with dual speakers featuring Dolby Atmos support, which is great for media consumption. Connectivity options include 4G LTE (as the name suggests), Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, and NFC.

Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G Price in Nepal and Availability

Xiaomi hasn't announced the official price for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G in Nepal yet. However, the phone is launching in Poland at 1,499 PLN for the 8GB+256GB variant, with sales starting on December 18, 2025.
