Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy A17 in Nepal?

Although the Samsung Galaxy A17 delivers a bright and smooth 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, capable cameras with OIS, and a solid 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, the recent significant price hike in Nepal changes the value equation a bit. I must say the software experience with One UI 7 on Android 15 feels polished and easy to use, and everyday tasks like browsing, video streaming, and social apps run without hiccups.

But with the price bump, the Exynos 1330 isn't a performance standout. It's an old chipset; during my tests, it was just sufficient for normal tasks, but on the gaming side, it's on the weaker side. PUBG runs at 30fps here. If you want good gaming performance, you might want to go with the Infinix GT 30, which features a Dimensity 7400 SoC. For the most part, the Galaxy A17 remains a decent all-rounder.
