This new model, available in both 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, is set to hit the market soon. Both models have a design made from recycled materials such as plastics, glass, and aluminum. The 14-inch version has a thickness of 10.9mm and weighs 1.16kg. The 16-inch version has a thickness of 12.3mm and weighs 1.55kg. Both are available in Sapphire Blue.
The Galaxy Book4 Edge offers notable display features for both its 14-inch and 16-inch versions. The 14-inch model has an AMOLED touchscreen with a 3K resolution of 2880 x 1800. It supports HDR, VRR, and up to a 120Hz refresh rate, along with 120% DCI-P3 color volume and 500 nits brightness.
Similarly, the 16-inch version shares the same display specifications. It also features a 3K resolution AMOLED screen, HDR and VRR capabilities, 120Hz refresh rate, 120% DCI-P3 color volume, and 500 nits brightness.
Processor and Battery
The Galaxy Book4 Edge is equipped with different processors depending on the model. The 14-inch version uses the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 processor, which operates at 3.4GHz and can boost up to 4.0GHz. Similarly, the 16-inch model offers two processor options. The standard version uses the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 processor. There is also a high-end variant that features the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-84-100 processor, capable of boosting up to 4.2GHz.
Both sizes of the Galaxy Book4 Edge come with 16GB of RAM. Storage options include either a 512GB SSD or a 1TB SSD for both models. The storage in the 14-inch model can be expanded up to 1TB. Meanwhile, battery capacity varies between the two models. The 14-inch Galaxy Book4 Edge includes a 55.9Wh battery, while the 16-inch model has a 61.8Wh battery. Both models support 65W USB Type-C charging.
Audio and Ports
Both the 14-inch and 16-inch Galaxy Book4 Edge support Wi-Fi 7. The 14-inch model includes two USB 4.0 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port that supports 4K at 60Hz, and a headphone out/mic-in combo. The 16-inch model, in addition to these ports, also features a USB 3.2 port and a microSD card slot.
Both versions include dual microphones and quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The 14-inch model has woofers that output a maximum of 4W each and tweeters at 2.7W each. The 16-inch model has woofers that max out at 5W and tweeters at 2W. Both models come with a 2MP (1080p FHD) camera.
