The Odyssey series from Samsung is their top-tier premium monitor for some serious tasks. The monitor comes with a world-first 3D 6K resolution glass-free display and a whopping 330 Hz refresh rate with a 1 ms GtG response time. In this article, I will discuss everything you need to know about the all-new Samsung Odyssey 3D, including its specifications, features, and expected price in Nepal.
Samsung Odyssey 3D (G90XH) Overview:
Built
Talking about the design, it looks similar to the Apple Pro Display XDR, which comes with an aluminum build and a slim form factor. Ports include HDMI 2.1 and, lastly, DP 2.1 for connectivity.
6K Glasses-Free 3D Display
The highlight of the show is the all-new display tech it brings to the table. As per the details, this gaming monitor measures 32 inches and has a 6K (6144 x 3456) resolution. Samsung has opted for the same resolution as Apple’s Pro Display XDR. For refresh rate, it comes with a high 165 Hz, but we also have a dual mode that doubles the refresh rate to 330 Hz, with the resolution capped at 3008×1692 pixels. In addition, it comes with a 1ms GtG response time.
The most interesting feature of the Odyssey OLED 3D G90XH is that it can play 3D content without the need for 3D glasses. This only works for a single user, as the 3D image is precisely adjusted to the user's field of view by an eye-tracking camera. This method enabled Samsung to provide a convincing 3D representation of images even when viewed from a slight angle.
We can expect many games to work with this display, as Samsung is currently working with game developers to optimize for it. Supported titles include The First Berserker Khazan, Lies of P Overture, and Stellar Blade.
We currently don't have any further specifications, price, or release date for this monitor, but it is expected to be unveiled at CES 2026 on January 6-9, 2026, in Las Vegas.
