As the name implies, the Sony LinkBuds Clip boast a clip-on design. So you can continue hearing the surroundings, plus also grooving to the music at the same time. Sony states that these are designed for "a comfortable, stable fit across a variety of ear types with removable Fitting Cushions, making them ideal for wearing all day." Likewise, you get an IPX4 rating for splash resistance.

Audio

In terms of audio, the LinkBuds Clip features three listening modes: Standard, Voice Boost ,and Sound Leakage Reduction. You also get EQ presets and DSEE upscaling here, which work in standard mode. For phone calls, Sony uses a bone-conduction sensor to capture your voice and an AI-based noise-reduction system to eliminate background noise. With an open-ear clip-on bud, you obviously don't get ANC.

As for the battery, the LinkBuds Clip can play for as long as 9 hours or a total of 37 hours using the case. Sony has also provided quick charging support that can provide one hour of juice in just three minutes.
