Sony has officially launched the WH-1000XM6, the latest generation in its critically acclaimed noise-canceling headphone lineup. The XM6 builds on the foundation of its predecessor with smarter internals, improved noise cancellation, and a refined design. Design

The faster processing also helps the headphones respond more quickly to changing environments, ideal for city commuters or frequent travelers.

Sony has also upgraded the microphone array. The WH-1000XM6 features a six-microphone beamforming system powered by AI, aimed at significantly enhancing voice clarity during calls. This addresses one of the minor shortcomings of the XM5, which had good but not great call performance.
