The Xperia 5 V gets the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip from Qualcomm. This tried and tested 5G silicon is already powering multiple flagship devices in the market. It features one Cortex-X3 core at 3.2 GHz, two Cortex-A715 cores at 2.8 GHz, two Cortex-A710 cores at 2.8 GHz, and three Cortex-A510 cores at 2.0 GHz. Running the graphics is an Adreno 740 GPU.

Design and Display
Design-wise, the Xperia 5 V sports a flat metallic frame build with curved edges. Sony has ensured an ergonomic experience with a fingerprint-free frosted glass rear panel. Other than that, the phone also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. Likewise, you get three color options here: Black, Platinum Silver, and Blue.

It shoots 12MP images by default at 24mm while, also being able to capture 2x optically zoom images at 48mm. It is accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide unit. While on the front, there is a 12MP selfie camera with 5-axis gyro-EIS stabilization.
