Vivo X300 Ultra will launch with 2K res display and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Vivo is not stopping with the X300 Pro; an Ultra device is also in the works, namely the Vivo X300 Ultra. And as always, the rumor mills have started spilling some beans already. Here in this piece of news, we'll discuss all the rumors and leaks surrounding the Vivo X300 Ultra.

Vivo X300 Ultra Rumors:

Design and Display

As per DCS, the famous Weibo tipster, the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra will switch to a flat metal frame with sharp edges. The big circular camera is here to stay, though. Meanwhile, Vivo is removing the dedicated action button, which was present on its predecessor, the X200 Ultra. 

In terms of display, the X300 Ultra will sport a 6.82-inch BOE AMOLED panel with 2K resolution on top. It will feature a four-sided narrow-bezel design. As a flagship phone, it will for sure implement the LTPO tech for adaptive refresh rates.

Performance

Under the hood, the X300 Ultra will get its horsepower from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. It has two prime cores at 4.65 MHz and six cores at 3.62 MHz, offering serious performance for gaming and daily tasks alike. Vivo will likely pair this chip with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. On the otherhand, the smartphone will boot on OriginOS 6 built on top of Android 16.

Camera and Others

Cameras have always been the thing for the X-Series phone, and this Ultra phone will carry the legacy. Rumors indicate it will include a 200MP setup paired with a 50MP ultrawide sensor. The primary unit is tipped to be a Sony LYT-901 sensor with continuous optical zoom across multiple focal lengths. While the ultrawide and periscope telephoto cameras are said to be Sony LYT-828 and Samsung HPB sensors, respectively.

Moreover, this Ultra phone will feature a massive 7,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity features will include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, GPS, and a USB-C port.

Vivo X300 Ultra Launch and Availability
