It’s no surprise that Xiaomi has a wide catalogue of products. They introduced an entire “Xiaomi Life” brand a few days prior. Even in Nepal, they launched the UniBlade Trimmer with wireless charging capability just recently. Further adding to their already wide selection, Xiaomi announced the 67W Desktop Fast Charging Socket Pro! Let’s have a look at it.

Design
First things first, the Xiaomi 67W Desktop Fast Charging Socket Pro is an adapter-cum-hub that can charge your devices as well as transfer data. Design-wise, it looks like a regular laptop charging adapter with a handful of ports on it.
This socket utilises Gallium Nitride (GaN) allowing it to maintain a slim profile while also being more efficient than traditional silicon sockets. Moreover, you get a 0.9-metre full-function data cable with front as well as rear access integrated into the whole thing.

Features and Ports
Under the hood, this thing packs a smart chip that allocates power and ensures safety across all the connected devices. Moving on to the ports, the Xiaomi 67W Desktop Fast Charging Socket Pro comes with two full-function USB Type-C, one fast-charging USB Type-A, and an HDMI port. In addition, it also features three AC power interfaces.
The socket offers up to 67W charging support through the USB ports through various protocols. This includes Xiaomi Flash Charging, PD3.0/2.0, QC3.0/2.0, FCP, AFC, Apple 2.4A, and BC1.2. Similarly, the USB ports can also be used to access external storage devices like pen drives and hard disks. Herein, it uses the USB 3.0 protocol for high-speed data transferring. Likewise, the HDMI supports 4K@60Hz video transmission. And lastly, the AC interfaces offer a total power output of 2,500W.

Xiaomi 67W Desktop Fast Charging Socket Pro Price in Nepal and Availability
This adapter-cum-hub from the Chinese tech giant was announced through their Youpin platform. This is to say, the product is being crowdfunded and will likely be available in limited numbers. Anyway, it carries a price tag of CNY 185 and will be available from 3 April 2024.
As I mentioned earlier, its availability will likely be very limited and it might not make it out of its home country. However, if by any chance it does arrive here, we expect the Xiaomi 67W Desktop Fast Charging Socket Pro price in Nepal to be NPR 4,099.
