Xiaomi has announced the Xiaomi Buds 6 as its latest semi-in-ear wireless earbuds, sitting above last year’s Buds 5 with a few hardware and feature-level changes. This article will discuss everything about the latest Xiaomi Buds 6, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability. Let's break it down!
Xiaomi Buds 6 Overview
Design

The Buds 6 stick to a semi-in-ear design, but Xiaomi says the physical shape has been reworked. The ear stem joint is now slimmer, the sound outlet is thinner, and the contact area is slightly larger.
Each earbud here weighs 4.4 grams, which is a bit heavier than the Buds 5, though the difference is very small. It is available in Moon Shadow Black, Pearl White, Nebula Purple, and Titanium Gold colors.
Audio and Tuning
The Xiaomi Buds 6 move from a dual-magnet driver to a tri-magnetic driver system, which is paired with a gold-plated diaphragm. Xiaomi hasn’t talked about driver size again, but the focus this year seems to be on the driver structure.
Moreover, lossless wireless audio and spatial audio still supported, with a transmission rate of up to 2.1 Mbps, similar to last year. Harman tuning remains part of the package. And there’s also a new preset called “HaLiang Classic.”

Noise Control and Features

The Buds 6 use a triple-microphone setup for calls, with AI-based noise reduction. Xiaomi describes this as “comfort-focused noise cancellation.”
Similarly, Xiaomi also seems to be clearly expanding its AI features on the Buds 6. Audio recording and AI summaries are still here, but translation has gone further. The earbuds now support face-to-face translation and simultaneous interpretation for up to 20 people, along with independent recording.
Connectivity and Ecosystem
Just like the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is made compatible with the Apple ecosystem, the Buds 6 also adds Apple Find My support, which wasn’t present on the Buds 5. Xiaomi’s own device-finding feature is also included and works regardless of distance.
Other ecosystem features like smart search, fast device finding, and cross-device support remain part of the experience. Other than that, the battery life is alos quite decent. Xiaomi has rated it at up to 6 hours on the earbuds and up to 35 hours with the case.
