The Honor X7d is an affordable phone with some impressive features. Let’s take a brief look at the latest Honor phone over here.
Honor X7d Overview
Design and Display
Starting the things with the design, the Honor X7d looks similar to its lower series member — for instance, Honor X6b. It ships in Desert Gold, Ocean Cyan, Meteor Silver, and Velvet Black colors.
For durability, we do get an SGS 5-star drop-survival certification. That means this device should handle accidental drops pretty well. It also comes with IP65 certification, so it’s protected from dust and strong water jets – not full immersion, but better than most budget phones.
For display, you’re getting a 6.77-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is a clear upgrade from previous models. The resolution is still 720p, but this will work fine for basic usage.
Performance
The Honor X7d features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 as its primary driver, which is a nearly three-year-old processor. Saying that, it’s decent enough for average usage who scroll social media and watch content. This phone is available in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB RAM, and 8GB/256GB varient. Users can virtually expand the memory on this thing with Honor RAM Turbo Technology. However, it is unclear whether there is storage expansion support or not.
In the tank, it has a large Li-Po 6500 mAh battery with 35W charging support.
Camera and the rest
The camera setup includes a 108MP main sensor with f/1.75 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor that’s basically just there for portrait blur. The front camera is an 8MP unit with an f/2.0 aperture. We can record up to 1080p at 30 fps max on this device.
It runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, so at least you’re getting the latest Android features. Lastly, it is a 4G-only phone with dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 support.
