Asus Pro Art P16 (2024) announced with 4k OLED screen and Ryzen AI processor!

ultAsus refreshed a bunch of its laptops during Computex among which is the Pro Art P16 with a gorgeous 4k OLED screen, new Ryzen Strix Point CPU, powerful RTX 40 series graphics, and great I/O. In this piece, let’s take a quick glance at the Asus Pro Art P16 including its features, capabilities, expected price in Nepal, and availability.

Design and Display

The Pro Art P16 is a premium creative workhorse with an all-metal body weighing about 1850 grams. It looks sophisticated in its ‘Nano Black’ coating and is pretty durable boasting a US MIL-STD 810H military rating.

On the display side of things, you are getting a stunning 4k OLED screen with plenty of screen estate. The 16-inch touch panel sports a 16:10 aspect ratio with full DCI-P3 color coverage, great contrast, and brightness levels.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the Asus Pro Art P16 rocks AMD’s newer Ryzen Strix Point APUs. You can configure the ultrabook with either Ryzen AI 9 365 or Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU with the new Zen 5 CPU architecture, improved graphics, and powerful NPU. Complementing the CPU, there are dedicated graphics from NVIDIA spanning: RTX 4050, RTX 4060, and RTX 4070. The P16 designates up to 70W TDP for the CPU and 105W for the GPU so you are not really leaving a lot off the table in terms of raw power even though the cards are not clocked at their maximum power draw.

As for the memory, the Pro Art ultrabook supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 2TB NVME Gen 4 SSD. There’s an extra M.2 2280 slot as well.

Connectivity and Extras

In terms of connectivity, there’s a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with display port and power delivery support, a USB 4 Type-C, two USB 3 Type-As, an HDMI, a 3.5mm jack, and an SD card reader. For the wireless end, there’s triple-band WiFi 7 alongside Bluetooth 5.4.

Powering the Asus Pro Art P16 is a large 90Wh battery that chargers via a 200W AC brick. The webcam is an FHD one with Windows Hello support, the keyboard features a white backlight, the trackpad houses your dial-pad, and there are AI-powered apps like Story Cube and Muse Tree exclusive to Asus.

Asus Pro Art P16 Price in Nepal and Availability
