ASUS has finally refreshed its most famous thin and light, powerful series, i.e., Zephyrus 16, at CES 2026. The 2026 edition of Zephyrus 16 brings upgrades to a new chipset from both Intel and AMD, making this device AI-ready. So yeah, in this article, I will discuss everything you need to know about the all-new Zephyrus G16, including its features, specifications, and expected price in Nepal.

      ASUS Zephyrus G16 Overview:

      Design and Display

Starting with the design, it features a design similar to the Zephyrus 14 (2026), made of premium materials such as CNC-milled aluminium, and is available in two premium color options: Platinum White and Eclipse Grey. Regarding weight, it just weighs around 1.85 kg, which is quite good for a 16-inch laptop.

Talking about the display, here we get an outstanding display featuring the ROG Nebula HDR OLED display, which comes with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels and has all the flagship features such as 240Hz fast refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colors, 1100 nits peak brightness, 0.2 ms latency, and even Delta E <1. So yeah, if you want a lightweight device with a great display, the ASUS Zephyrus won't disappoint you.

      Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the  Zephyrus ships with the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor, and for the GPU, you can even pair this to an RTX 5090. As we get a bigger form factor compared to the Zephyrus G14, here the GPU power limits have been bumped up for greater sustained performance in manual mode, and ASUS has also refined its cooling architecture for enhancing its ventilation, and also re-designed bottom panel and added liquid metal on the CPU to manage the added heat from the higher watt graphics.

For memory, we get up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory based on dual-channel support running at 8533MT/s. For storage, here we get two slots where it maxes at 2TB Gen 4/6 SSD based on the country.

      Connectivity and Battery

Talking about connectivity, here we get the same port selection that we have seen on the Zephyrus G14, i.e., one Thunderbolt 4 port, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one HDMI 2.1, one SD card, and lastly a 3.5 mm headphone mic combo. For wireless connectivity, it comes with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.

For the battery, we have an improved 80Wh cell which comes with a 250W adapter included in the box.
