Design and Display

The VivoBook S 15 2025 has kept things really slim and light, as it does in most Vivobook models. The chassis measures 353.6 x 246.9 x 13.9–15.9 mm and weighs 1.5 kg. You get two colors here: Neutral Black and Cool Silver. On the front, you are welcomed with a 15.6-inch OLED panel that has a 3K resolution (2880 x 1620), supports 120Hz refresh, and is VESA HDR True Black 500 certified. Similarly, color coverage hits 100% DCI-P3, and the display is TÜV Rheinland-certified for eye comfort.

Performance and AI Features

Inside, there’s the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 12 cores, 24 threads, and a boost clock of 5.1 GHz. As you know, it's a lightweight ultrabook machine, instead of a gaming one, hence if you were expecting a powerful GPU, then you are going to be disappointed. But if you do not care about a dedicated GPU, then you might be looking at the right device. Because it still provides an Integrated AMD Radeon 890M graphics that can easily handle some amount of demanding visuals, and the laptop also packs AMD XDNA 2 NPU with 50 TOPS for AI tasks. That means it can accelerate AI-driven applications without significantly impacting the CPU. But the M5506 model also features two other processors: Ryzen 5 7535HS and Ryzen 7 8845HS Processor, which are unfortunately not available in Nepal right now. 

Memory and Connectivity

It ships with 32GB of soldered LPDDR5X RAM at 7500 MHz and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. No extra RAM slots here, but the storage is fast and enough for most heavy users. Other than that, port options are also pretty typical. It includes 2x USB-A 3.2, USB-C 3.2 with DisplayPort and PD, USB 4 with DP/PD, HDMI 2.1, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroSD card reader. Its connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. For security, you have TPM 2.0 and a Kensington lock slot.

Battery and Software

Battery capacity sits at 75 Wh, and it charges via USB-C. ASUS claims up to 17+ hours of usage, though that is entirely on your workload. And like usual, you get a Windows 11 Home that comes preinstalled along with ASUS AI apps and Copilot+ PC features.
