Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K Now Available in Nepal

The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K has officially landed in the Nepali market. Designed for independent filmmakers and professional videographers, this compact cinema camera delivers high-end features like RAW recording, dual native ISO, and high frame rate capture—all wrapped in a lightweight, carbon fiber composite body.

Sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range

The camera uses a 4/3″ sensor with dual native ISO (400/3200), expandable up to 25,600, offering excellent performance in both daylight and low light. With 13 stops of dynamic range, it captures more detail in highlights and shadows.

High-resolution, high-frame-rate options

It supports DCI 4K at up to 75 fps, 2.8K anamorphic at 80 fps, and 2.6K in Super16 crop mode at 120 fps, in addition to Full HD. Users can shoot in Blackmagic RAW or ProRes 422 formats.

Touchscreen control and HDMI output

The 5-inch touchscreen LCD allows for intuitive control and live view monitoring. The full-size HDMI port supports clean 10-bit output, with de-squeeze options for anamorphic lenses.

Advanced audio and storage

The camera includes a mini-XLR input with phantom power, a 3.5mm jack, and built-in stereo microphones. For storage, it supports CFast 2.0, SD/UHS-II cards, and USB-C external drives.

Built for mobility and workflow

Housed in a carbon fiber composite body, the Pocket 4K is lightweight yet durable. It also ships with a license for DaVinci Resolve Studio, enabling professional post-production workflows right out of the box.
