GIGABYTE has unveiled two QD-OLED gaming monitors ahead of their expected debut at CES 2025. Although both are gaming laptops, they are dedicated to different audiences. In this article, we’ll take an in-depth look at these two monitors; AORUS FO27Q5P and the MO27U2.

AORUS FO27Q5P and MO27U2 Overview

The FO27Q5P features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a whooping 500Hz refresh rate, the highest in the QD-OLED segment. Moreover, it also comes equipped with DisplayPort 2.1, supporting UHBR20 technology for up to 80Gbps bandwidth (2.5 times faster than DisplayPort 1.4). This monitor is designed for esport professionals and FPS game fans looking for visual fidelity and good performance.

27-inch 4K QD-OLED!

On the other hand, the MO27U2 is the world’s first 27-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor. It features 166 PPI pixel density and a 240Hz refresh rate. One of its standout features is its exceptional color accuracy, featuring a delta E ≤ 2 and Pantone Validation. This monitor can be a perfect choice for streaming, AAA gaming or creative tasks such as video editing.

Similarities

Talking about the similarities, both of these monitors feature AI-based OLED Care technology. This feature works to prevent burn-in and extend the life of the monitors. Furthermore, they also come with Tactical Switch 2.0 which lets you easily adjust your resolutions and switch to 4:3  aspect screen ratios for optimal settings. Not just that, they also include Night Vision and Black Equalizer 2.0 which improves the visibility across the entire screens and provides better illumination of dark scenes to improve game accuracy.
