After the launch of the Honor 400 Lite, Honor is now preparing to expand its 400 series lineup with two new models. The Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro. A recent leak has revealed the official renders of both smartphones alongside most of their specs.

      Display and Design

Starting with the display, the regular Honor 400 will have a 6.55-inch flat AMOLED display. While the Pro model gets a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display with quad-curves. And both of them boast a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits of peak brightness (HDR).

But other than these two, Honor is also said to be exploring an even smaller phone in the 400 lineup. Possibly one with a 6.3-inch display. And as you can see from the leaked renders — thanks to 91mobiles —  the Honor 400 and 400 Pro kinda look like the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra. In terms of IP rating, rumors suggest the cheaper model will bear IP65 dust/splash resistance versus IP68 + IP69 dust/water resistance on the Pro variant.

      Performance

Moving on, the standard Honor 400 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, compared to the Pro model's more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

In terms of software, both these phones will run on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0, which includes a handful of AI features. Like Google's "Circle to Search", on-device deepfake detection, AI translation, AI Writing Tools, AI Recorder, and more.

      Cameras and Battery

Getting to cameras, both phones will carry a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP selfie shooter. But the Honor 400 Pro will also include a 50MP telephoto lens... likely with 3x optical zoom. On the other hand, the Honor 400 is expected to come with a 5,300mAh silicon-carbon battery with 66W wired charging. The larger Honor 400 Pro bears the same battery capacity but with 100W charging, which should fill up half the phone in just 15 minutes.

Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro Price and Launch

For now, Honor hasn't disclosed any details of these phones. But based on the scale of the leak, we expect the Honor 400 series to launch pretty soon at a similar price as the Honor 300 (CNY 2,299 / USD 315) and Honor 300 Pro (CNY 3,399 / USD 465).
