So, Honor also launched the Honor 500 Pro, alongside the standard variant, as part of the 500 series in China yesterday. But unlike the vanilla model, the Pro variant brings higher-end features compared to the base model, and that includes a very powerful chipset and an advanced camera setup. Now, let’s jump in this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest Honor 500 Pro, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Honor 500 Pro Overview
Display and Design

Starting off the display itself, here the Honor 500 Pro has a flat 6.55-inch LTPO OLED display, 2736 × 1264 resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 6000 nits peak brightness. The 500 Pro is practically the same design-wise compared to the regular variant, with the rear camera module now completely revamped with a new style that replaces the rounded module of the Honor 400 series. But the Pro is also on the slightly heavier side than the base Honor 500 due to the same large battery and reinforced build.
Anyway, the durability is also the same as its predecessor, although you are getting an additional IP69K protection as well. Similarly, the 500 Pro includes a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, unlike the optical sensor on the base model.
Performance and Software
Like all previous series of this kind, Honor, as expected, uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite (3nm) chipset with Adreno 830 GPU. The Pro version has historically used last year’s flagship chipset. And because of that, it should quite obvious that, this chipset is capable of performing smoothly over everything your phone has access to. Moreover, you are getting memory options of 12GB or 16GB, with storage up to 1TB, which is more than the base model and the previous Honor 400. Plus, It runs MagicOS 10.0 on Android 16.
Camera

Now, getting to the camera, the rear setup here includes a 200MP main with a HP3 1/1.4-inch sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 50MP IMX856 telephoto, which comes with 3× optical zoom (100x digital zoom) with OIS. So, one thing to note is that the main and ultrawide cameras here have better stabilization than the Honor 400, and you don’t get a telephoto camera in the regular variant. Moreover, on the front, you are getting a 50MP selfie camera with 3D depth sensor, that supports 4K video.
