Honor has launched the GT Pro smartphone, which comes with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Yes, the one we were hearing rumors about as the cheapest 8 Elite phone to come. In this article, we’ll go over everything about the Honor GT Pro, including its features and expected price.
Honor GT Pro Overview
Design and Display
The Honor GT Pro comes in at 162.1 x 75.7 x 8.58mm and weighs about 212 grams. On the front, it packs a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1,264 x 2,800 pixels. This is an LTPO OLED screen, and it supports a super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
The touch sampling rate peaks at an impressive 2,700Hz, while the PWM dimming frequency is set at 4,200Hz, and brightness tops out at 600 nits. What’s really interesting is the Oasis Polarised Eye Protection Gaming Screen, protected by Honor’s own Giant Rhino Glass.
The phone also carries a self-developed RF-enhanced C1+ chip, which really helps boost signal performance, especially in tough areas. And with an IP68 and IP69 rating, it’s well protected against dust and water. For security, it comes with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Powering the phone is a huge 7,200mAh battery, which sounds amazing for long-lasting use. It also supports 90W wired fast charging, so topping up won’t take long at all.

On the back, the Honor GT Pro houses a triple-camera setup. It starts with a 50MP wide-angle sensor (1/1.56-inch, f/1.95) that includes OIS for steadier shots. Next, you get a 50MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Lastly, there’s a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and 50x digital zoom—seriously, the zoom capability is a standout here.
On the front, it’s got a 50MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture, which should be great for both video calls and high-res selfies.
In terms of connectivity, the phone supports a wide array of options including Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, NFC, OTG, and USB Type-C.
