Honor has its upcoming Magic V3 foldable smartphone specification leaked all over the internet, revealing multiple color options and leaked images. Let’s compare the rumored specs of the Honor Magic V3 and explore what new is in the upcoming phone compared to its predecessor.

Last year’s Magic V2 was probably the thinnest foldable phone out there, it was almost as thin as the iPhone 15 Pro Max when folded. Now, the Magic V3 is 9.7mm thin when folded, making it slightly slimmer than the Magic V2, which is 9.9mm thin. The Magic V3 weighs 226g, which is 5g lighter than the V2’s 231g. The upcoming Honor Magic V3 will have an IPX8 rating for water resistance

The Magic V3 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the Magic V2. Meanwhile, the V2 came in a single 16GB memory option, we expect the same RAM option for the upcoming V2. Regarding storage, the V3 will also come with options for up to 1TB of massive storage. 

Battery

The Magic V3 offers a 5,200 mAh battery with 66W wired charging, a 200 mAh increase over the Magic V2’s 5,000 mAh battery.

Camera and Features

The Magic V3 will have a 50 MP main camera with OIS and a 3.5x optical zoom telephoto lens. The Magic V2 featured a 20 MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. Hence, we expect similar if not better configuration in the upcoming release. Additional features of the Magic V3 include satellite communication support, wireless charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Honor Magic V3 Launch Date
