Rumours were circulating that Honor was preparing to launch the Pad 9 alongside the Honor 90 GT. Turns out, the rumours were on point! Honor has now launched the tablet with a Snapdragon silicone and an 8,300 mAh battery among other things. Let’s discuss the Honor Pad 9 further including its specifications, expected price in Nepal, and so on!
Honor Pad 9 Overview
Design and Display
The Honor Pad 9 comes with an all-metal body in a slim frame at just 6.96mm. It weighs 555 grams and comes with a circular camera island aligned centrally on the back. Meanwhile, this tablet features pretty thin bezels around the screen where it also places the front-facing camera. The Honor Pad 9 is available in three colour options: White, Blue, and Grey.
Moving on to the screen, we are greeted with a huge 12.10” display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. It is an IPS LCD panel that can reach up to 500 nits of brightness. Additionally, Honor has equipped this screen with an anti-glare glass that eliminates up to 98% reflections. You can also get the Honor Pad 9 with a paper-like screen protector that the company calls “Soft Light”. This screen protector apparently makes drawing, and writing on the display feel more enjoyable.
Performance
Under the hood, we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 powering the Honor Pad 9. This is a 4nm chipset with eight cores and a peak processing power of 2.2 GHz. It is coupled with Qualcomm’s Adreno 710 GPU.
In the meantime, it comes in three configurations: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. On the software side of things, we are getting MagicOS 7.2 on Android 13.

Battery and rest
Powering the Honor Pad 9 is an 8,300 mAh battery with a 35W charging capability. Furthermore, this tablet offers full stylus support. Another one of its highlighting features is that it has eight speakers! As a result, you get a true surround sound and a very immersive experience.
You also get a pair of microphones in the Honor Pad 9 for better audio input. It is further enhanced by Honor’s proprietary algorithm to suppress noise and amplify your voice. The company is also offering cool features like voice-to-text support, and pre-loaded drawing templates.

Honor Pad 9 Price in Nepal and Availability
The Honor Pad 9 went up for sale alongside the Honor 90 GT starting on 21 December 2023. The tablet starts at a price point of CNY 1,699, but customers can enjoy an early bird discount of CNY 100, effectively cutting the price to CNY 1,599. Accordingly, if it arrives here, we expect the Honor Pad 9 price in Nepal to start from NPR 37,999.
