Honor has finally confirmed the launch of its brand-new gaming smartphone series, called “Win.” This new lineup is set to debut in China on December 26. The first smartphones in the series, named Honor Win and Honor Win RT, are already available for pre-order through Honor’s official online store across China. So yeah, in this article, I will discuss everything we know about the all-new Honor Win series, including its features, specifications and more.
Honor Win and Win RT Overview
Design and Display

As we can see in the teaser image shared by Honor itself, the phone gives off vibes similar to the Redmi K90 Ultra / Poco F8 Ultra, featuring a rectangular camera module design. The main difference we can see between the Honor Win and Win RT is mainly in the camera setup. The Win RT comes with a triple-camera layout, whereas the Win features a dual-camera setup. In terms of color options, the phone will be available in black, blue, and white.

When it comes to the display, there isn’t complete information yet. However, a Weibo user shared an image of the “About Phone” page, which was later reposted by Honor Performance Optimization R&D Engineer A Young, adding more authenticity to the leak. The image shows that the Honor Win features a 1.5K OLED display with a resolution of 2800 × 1272 pixels. Apart from this, there are a few rumors suggesting the screen could be an LTPS panel with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. As of now, no more details are available about the Win and Win RT.

Performance, battery, and more…
On the performance front, the Honor Win is expected to pack the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the Win RT is rumored to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. For cooling such high-end chips, we also get built-in fans to keep things running cool during highly intense tasks. The Honor Win could feature 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM along with 16GB of virtual RAM, and it also comes with Honor’s in-house chips like the C1+ RF enhancement chip and the E2 power efficiency enhancement chip.
Battery-wise, Honor is going all out. While the Red Magic 11 Pro (China) currently leads with an 8,000 mAh battery on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the Honor Win is set to raise the bar with a massive 10,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery. Adding more, recent leaks also suggest a triple-camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor.
