Honor launched the Honor X9c a while ago in Malaysia. And now, the “Smart” version of the phone is also official with toned-down specs. It features a Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC and an identical design. Design-wise, Honor hasn’t altered much with a circular camera module and a hole-punch panel upfront. The middle frame is slightly curved for a comfortable grip while the curved display has begone farewell here. Likewise, the phone is also sturdy thanks to the 5-star drop resistance protection and water resistance body. As for the display, you get a 6.8-inch flat display here which is not AMOLED but instead, a TFT LCD panel. It boasts a 2412 x 1080 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Honor X9c packs a Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC. This 4nm fabbed chip boasts two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.5GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. Handling the graphics here is IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. Honor has paired the chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, booting the smartphone is MagicOS 9.0 built on top of the last gen Android 14.
Camera
As for the optics, the Honor X9c employs a dual-camera setup. The primary camera is a 108MP sensor with f/1.75 aperture while the other one is a generic 5MP Ultrawide unit. Upfront, there is a 16MP unit for taking selfies and video calls. In terms of videography, the Honor X9c can only shoot up to 1080p resolution.
Battery, Charging, and Others
Moving on, fueling the Honor X9c Smart is a 5800mAh Li-ion Polymer battery with 35W of wired fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 6 (Dual-band), Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a USB-C port. Furthermore, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics security.
