Huawei launches Enjoy Z: 5G smartphone under $300!

There's no doubt that 5G is the future of connectivity. And most smartphone manufacturers are producing devices capable of using its features. However, most of those devices usually fall in the top-end price segment. The number of cost-effective smartphones that support 5G is quite literally non-existent. Well, rather it was I must say. That's because Huawei recently launched its new smartphone, the Enjoy Z. It is the company's latest 5G smartphone that will be available at under $300. Now, despite being a mid-segment smartphone, it does offer some high-end specs too. 

Huawei Enjoy Z Overview

The device has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Its screen offers a refresh rate of 90Hz and its touch response rate is 180Hz. Furthermore, the display has a small waterdrop notch to house the 16MP selfie camera. Sadly, there isn't an in-display fingerprint sensor as the screen is an LCD panel. Rather, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.  The rear camera module on the back is a triple-camera array. It consists of a 48MP (wide) primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The module is completed by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. And as mentioned above, the front camera is a 16MP selfie shooter. Also Read: Huawei Mobile Price in Nepal Under the hood, the Huawei Enjoy Z is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC. The chipset is built on a 7nm process and has an integrated modem. And it is due to that integrated modem the processor supports dual-mode 5G. Furthermore, the device also sports a huge battery of 4000mAh that supports 22.5W Fast Charging. The device will be available in 2 RAM variants. One with 6GB and the other one with 8GB RAM. The storage options are of 64GB and 128GB. However, users can expand the memory of the device up to 256GB using a nano memory.

Huawei Enjoy Z Price and Availability

The Huawei Enjoy Z will go on sale in China from June 1. However, it is already available for pre-booking in Vmall. The price of its base variant i.e 6GB/64GB configuration is CNY 1,699 ($238). Similarly, the 6GB/128GB variant is available for CNY 1,899 ($266). And the high-end 8GB/128GB variant is available for CNY 2,199 ($308).
