Huawei unveils Nova 14 Ultra with 100x periscope lens

Talking of the design, the Nova 14 Ultra boasts a 7.78mm slim, micro-curved body crafted from scratch-resistant plaid-pattern glass. Adding flair to the rear is a glowing circular camera module embedded with 616 starlight diamonds, giving it a luxurious, jewel-like effect. On top of that, this phone is IP68/69 certified, meaning it can survive 2-meter submersion for 30 minutes and even resist high-pressure water jets.

Upfront, this Ultra phone packs a 6.81-inch LTPO 3.0 OLED display, featuring quad micro-curved edges and Kunlun Glass protection, said to offer 10x drop resistance. It features a 2860 × 1272 resolution (460 PPI), 5500 nits peak brightness, and 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Huawei also includes AI Intelligent Eye Protection and nano-crystal plating for extra durability and comfort during extended use.

In terms of optics, the Nova 14 Ultra rocks a triple camera setup. It is headlined by a 50MP RYYB main sensor with variable aperture (f/1.4 to f/4.0) and OIS. Huawei hasn’t explicitly listed the chipset for the Nova 14 Ultra on its product page. It is widely expected to feature the Kirin 9000S — Huawei’s most advanced in-house 7nm SoC, also seen in the Mate 60 series. Memory-wise, you get 12GB RAM paired with up to 1TB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the phone boots on HarmonyOS 5.0 software.
