Infinix recently launched the Hot 50 (4G) with the Helio G100 processor and Infinix AI baked-in. Design-wise, this phone does not have much going on. It looks pretty standard with the flat edges and frame, a squircle camera island, and a grainy finish on the back. It does have a better-fleshed-out appearance than its predecessor — Infinix Smart 8 and also enjoys an IP54 rating. In the meantime, it ships in Metallic Black, Neo Titanium, Mint Green, and Sandstone Gold colour options.
The Infinix Smart 9 has a 6.7-inch IPS a-Si LCD panel with HD+ resolution. The display offers a refresh rate and touch sampling rate of up to 120Hz and 240Hz respectively. Meanwhile, it offers a typical brightness of 500 nits. The screen also offers unaltered responsiveness even when used with wet and greasy hands.
Performance
This phone taps into the power of the MediaTek Helio G81 processor for its processing duties. It is assisted by either 3GB or 4GB of memory, which can doubled through the means of software. Likewise, the storage on the Infinix Smart 9 can be 64GB or 128GB, with support for external expansion of up to 2TB. Furthermore, it boots on XOS 14.0 based on Android 14 (Go Edition)

For the rear cameras, it has a 13MP primary shooter coupled with an undisclosed auxiliary unit. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper handling selfies and face scanning.
