Infinix XOS 16 brings AI and visual upgrades to future phones

Infinix has revealed the XOS 16, which is its next major software update based on Android 16. The new update has mostly emphasized the visual design, personalization, and AI-powered tools. And according to Infinix, their future phones will now all come with XOS 16 out of the box, while older devices will receive the update in a staged rollout. Visual and Personalization Features

The XOS 16 features a new Glow-space visual design, and for smooth transitions, they have used what they call “liquid motion animations”. Similarly, using this UI, you can personalize your devices in several ways. Some of them include: new system app icons, wallpapers, and custom themes. The lock screen and home screen now support optional depth effects, and the update includes an AI-powered theme generator that can create themes from text or image inputs. 

AI Integration

XOS 16’s main selling point has been AI, as one might expect. Because most companies now focus on AI rather than some novel features, it was going to be hard for Infinix to miss out on AI. Anyway, the XOS 16 got AI features like Folax assistant, AI notes, AI Recording Summary, and flash Memo, which captures on-screen content, creates summaries, and adds tags for organization.

For communication, Infinix has provided a feature called “AI Call Assistant”, which offers real-time translation, call summaries, and can even auto-answer important calls. Likewise, In education and learning, XOS 16 provides tools to translate text, scan documents, assist in writing, and solve complex questions.

Moreover, XOS 16 also improves camera and multimedia features. Features like native eraser let users remove unwanted objects from images, while an image extension feature can expand visuals according to your liking. Moreover, i have some good news for gamers as well. Because you will clearly benefit from system-level performance modes, including Performance, Balanced, and Power Saving, as well as frame interpolation for smooth graphics. And by the way, bypass charging is also supported for gaming.
