Infinix XPad GT launched with Snapdragon 888 and 144Hz display

Infinix has launched a new gaming tablet, the Infinix XPad GT, in Malaysia. This new device boasts a gaming vibe with the Snapdragon 888 SoC powering the core. Without further ado, let's head straight into the specs, features, and expected price of the Infinix XPad GT in Nepal.

Under the hood, the Infinix XPad GT packs a flagship chip from the past, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. This 2020 5nm fabbed SoC still boasts some power for gaming and normal performance alike. It boasts 1x Cortex-X1 core at 2.84 GHz, 3x Cortex-A78 at 2.42 GHz, and 4x Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz.  Infinix has paired this chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Infinix claims that the Xpad GT can deliver 144fps on Standoff 2, 120fps on Honor of Kings and Mobile Legends, and 90fps on PUBG.

Design and Display

In terms of display, the XPad GT features a gaming vibe with a 6.5mm all-metal body and a weight of 496 grams. It's got a slim profile with an Infinix GT branding on the bottom right corner of the rear side. Likewise, you are greeted with a large 13-inch IPS LCD panel with 10-bit color and HDR 10 support. This 2.8K res display supports a fast 144Hz refresh rate and 700nits of peak brightness. Complementing the visual experience is an eight-speaker 3D surround sound system.

Camera, Battery, and Others

Moving on, this gaming tab features a 13MP rear camera unit while on the front, you get a 9MP selfie unit. Likewise, the XPad GT gets its fuel from a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity features include WiFi 6, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port.
