Design 

The major design change that we have witnessed on the iPhone 16 is the redesigned camera module. The Cupertino tech giant has brought back the vertical camera layout from the past on this new guy. 'Cause the last time we saw a vertical camera module was on the iPhone 12.

Meanwhile, the boxy frame design is here to stay, with a metal core. That's because the more durable and premium titanium build is reserved for the Pro models to maintain the gap. Display

In terms of display, the iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, the same as its predecessor. While Apple has redesigned the camera module, it has also introduced much thinner bezels. However, the refresh rate remains at 60Hz, which is surprising given that we are nearing the end of 2024. But, as always, it’s Apple being Apple!

Performance

The iPhone 16 uses the Apple 18 SoC across the board. Likewise, a new thermal design with a graphene layer is included in the iPhone 16 models. Similarly, you'll now get 8 GB of memory, supported by up to 512 GB of storage.
