Design and Build
The design side of things for the iPhone 16 Pro is no different than the Pro Max model. Just a smaller body and a smaller display, rest apart, it’s the same. Just like its big bro, it features two additional buttons on the side rails— an action button and a new capture button. The Pro model also comes with titanium frames with Corning glass on the front and back. Meanwhile, the color options are Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and Desert Titanium.
As for the display, Apple has bumped the display side to 6.3 inches from 6.12 inches of the iPhone 15 Pro. When talking of the OLED panel, the 16 Pro features LTPO Super Retina XDR made by Samsung with superior brightness and longevity with a 120Hz refresh rate.
A18 Pro and some AI
The Pro moniker for the iPhones stands for a Pro SoC, since the inception of the iPhone 15 Pro Series, flaunting an A17 Pro SoC. Before that, all of the siblings shared the same chipsets. This year as well, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are getting the Pro one, the A18 Pro chip with on-device AI capabilities. Meanwhile, the storage variants start at 256GB and go all the way up to 2TB.
