The JBL Flip 7 went official in the international market about a month ago, with features like “JBL AI Sound Boost” for real-time audio optimization. The Flip 7 includes an independent tweeter, a race-track-shaped mid-bass driver, and dual passive radiators. These components work together to deliver a balanced sound with deep bass. The top features easy-to-use buttons for volume control and play/pause, while the side has a power button, Bluetooth controller, and an Auracast button for seamless connectivity.

On the back, you’ll find a USB-C charging port conveniently located next to the sleek gray lanyard, which can be swapped out for a carabiner using JBL’s “PushLock System”, adding even more versatility to this already impressive speaker.

JBL Flip 7 is also IP68-rated, making it resistant to dust, water immersion (up to 1.5m for 30 minutes), and accidental drops. It is available in 9 different color options, some of which include white, black, purple, camo, red, and blue.

In terms of connectivity, this speaker features Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast for multi-speaker connectivity, allowing users to link multiple Flip 7 units together for an enhanced audio experience.

The Flip 7 supports lossless audio via a USB Type-C input with a high-quality DAC. It offers up to 14 hours of playback, with a Playtime Boost feature that adds an extra 2 hours. But this option is essentially an EQ preset that reduces lower bass frequencies and overall sound quality so that the speaker does not have to work hard.
