Lava Blaze X launched with a curved AMOLED display and Mediatek Dimensity 6300 SoC

Lava, the Indian smartphone manufacturer, launched the Blaze X as the latest addition to its Blaze series. Following the launch of the Blaze Curve in March, the Blaze X brings a Mediaetek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 64MP camera, and more. In this article, we will discuss the upcoming Lava Blaze X, including its expected price in Nepal and specifications. 

Lava Blaze X Overview

Design and Display

The primary attraction of the Lava Blaze X is its design. You get a curved frame design here with slightly curved edges and a premium-looking circular camera module. Lava ships this guy in three color options: Moonstone Matte Finish, Titanium Grey, and Star Light Purple. Upfront there is a curved display with a centered punch-hole, offering a modern look and enhanced viewing experience. This AMOLED panel stretches 6.67-inch diagonally with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Camera

As for the optics, the Lava Blaze X sports a dual camera setup. It is headlined by a 64MP main camera and a 2MP macro unit. Upfront there is a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Performance

Powering the Blaze X is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, known for its octa-core processor configuration of two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. Handling the graphics here is a Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. Lava has paired the chip with 4/6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of software, it boots on Android 14 out of the box with a guaranteed update to Android 15 and two years of security updates. Lava claims an ad-free experience on this phone with no bloatware.
