Lenovo Idea Tab Plus launched in India with 10,200mAh battery and bundled stylus

Lenovo has finally brought the Idea Tab Plus to India, months after its global announcement in September. The Tab Plus sits within the crowded mid-range tablet segment, where Samsung's Galaxy Tab A11+ and Xiaomi's Redmi Pad series also compete, so let's see what Lenovo's offering here. Now, let's jump in this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest Lenovo Idea Tab Plus, including its specifications, and when we might see it in Nepal.

Lenovo Idea Tab Plus Overview

Design and Display

The Idea Tab Plus comes with a tall 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 2.5K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Its brightness sits at 800 nits.  Lenovo has also managed to keep the Tab Plus relatively slim and light for a 12-inch tablet at 6.29mm thick and around 530 grams. The Tab Plus comes in a single color option: Luna Gray, but there's no IP rating for dust or water resistance.

Performance

Under the hood, you're getting the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. This is a hardly a mid-range processor, so as you might have guessed the performance will be quite on the weaker side. Anyway, you also get 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB ofstorage, with a microSD card slot for expansion. 

The Tab Plus runs Android 16, though Lenovo hasn't mentioned how many major Android upgrades it'll receive. Samsung's been pushing 7 major upgrades on its Tab A11 series, so that's something to keep in mind if long-term software support matters to you.

Camera and Battery

Since it's a tablet, the cameras are obviously not so good here. But Lenovo has included a reliable 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.  The standout feature has to be the big 10,200mAh battery. The Tab Plus also supports 45W wired fast charging.  Lenovo claims the tablet can last through a full day of mixed usage.

Stylus and Rest

Lenovo's bundled the Tab Pen stylus with the Idea Tab Plus, where the stylus supports sketching, note-taking, and other productivity tasks.  Software-wise, the Tab Plus comes with a Lenovo NotePad with AI Notes, Circle to Search with Google, and Google Gemini integration.  The Tab Plus supports 5G connectivity and there's also Bluetooth support, USB-C, and the standard suite of wireless features.
