Nagmani International has launched its latest gaming laptop, the Legion 5 15IRX10 (Gen 10), in Nepal. It’s got the old but yet powerful Intel processors and latest NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series GPUs. In this article I will discuss everything about the latest Lenovo Legion 5 15IRX10, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Lenovo Legion 5 15IRX10 Overview
Build and Design
Talking about the build the new Legion 5 comes with a sturdy build, featuring an aluminum top cover along with an ABS plastic bottom and keyboard deck. Lenovo this time has updated the Legion series with its new Legion ColdFront: Hyper cooling system, which slightly changes the design language. As now most of the ports are now placed on the sides instead of the back. however, Lenovo has still managed to keep the charging port and HDMI port at the rear which is even not present on the higher-end Legion Pro 5. The laptop ships with a 24-zone RGB keyboard and is available in a single Eclipse Black color option.

On the front, it comes with a 15.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600. The display includes all the flagship features you would expect, such as a fast 165Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.
However, note that it lacks support for G-SYNC, FreeSync, and Advanced Optimus. Since it uses a unique 15.1-inch panel, you may experience screen tearing while playing fast-paced games.
Performance
The Legion 5 Gen 10 comes with old yet very powerful Intel 14 Gen processor. One features a Intel Core i9-14900HX which has a total of 24 cores (8 performance and 16 Efficient Cores) making a total 32 threads where as the other feature i7-14700HX featuring 20 cores and 28 threads.
You get two GPU options here: RTX 5060 on the base and RTX 5070 on the high-end variant. Both have 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM and 115W TGP. The RTX 5070 has slightly lower boost clock but more AI TOPS. Honestly, the difference is there but not huge unless you're doing AI or creative workloads.
Memory and Storage
The base model comes with 24GB DDR5-4800 RAM while the higher one gives you 32GB DDR5-5600. Both offer up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, so not much difference on storage. The RAM is dual-channel in both. It has a 15.1-inch WQXGA OLED panel. Refresh rate hits 165Hz. It supports Dolby Vision and brightness goes up to 500 nits. The display is solid on paper and fits the price point.
Battery and Ports
There's an 80Wh battery with Super Rapid Charge support. Plus, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. So far, so good. The keyboard is 24-zone RGB backlit. Weight starts from 1.9kg. That’s pretty much what you’d expect for this category.
