The Legion Y7000P focuses on keeping a lowkey profile despite being a gaming laptop. You won’t find colorful aesthetics or accented lids, instead what you are getting is a modern-looking powerhouse of a notebook. It weighs 2.4 kilos and measures about 19.7mm thick with a Legion logo on the right side of the lid. 

Moving on to the display, there’s a crisp 2.5k IPS screen with full sRGB colors and Dolby Vision support. The 16-inch 165Hz panel sports a tall 16:10 aspect ratio and can reach about 350 nits of typical brightness. Moreover, you also get features like NVIDIA G-Sync and Low Blue Light support.

Talking about horsepower, the Legion Y7000P houses a powerful Core i7-14650HX and i7-13650HX  Raptor Lake refresh chipset. There’s a total of 16 cores (8 Performance + 8 Efficiency) and 24 Threads with a theoretical single-core turbo frequency of 5.2 GHz. This high TDP CPU is paired with a full wattage (140W) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU with 8GB of VRAM. Other laptop configurations ship with the Core i7 14700HX CPU with more cores and a slightly higher boost clock.

On the memory side of things, there are two SO-DIMM slots one preoccupied with a 16GB DDR5 stick. There’s also a 1TB M.2 NVME Gen 4 SSD with an extra slot for future expansion.
