Lenovo has introduced the ThinkBook 14 G6 in Nepal, expanding its lineup of business-oriented laptops. This model doesn’t bring significant changes in terms of design, but it does come with a practical set of specifications aimed at everyday tasks. Anyway, let’s take a quick look at everything the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G6 has to offer, alongside its official price in Nepal and availability.
Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G6 Overview
Design and display
The ThinkBook series is a line of ultraportable notebooks for home and office use. And the G6 features an aluminum top, a lightweight build weighing around 1.38 kg, and it’s also MIL-STD 810H certified for durability. It is available in a single “Arctic Grey” color with a dual-tone finish.
As for the display, you get a 14-inch WUXGA (1200p) or 16-inch resolution screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. It covers 45% of the NTSC color space, and it can hit up to 300 nits of max brightness. Which means, although it’s fine for casual, everyday work, don’t expect it to handle color-critical workloads like photo editing.
Performance and memory
Under the hood, the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G6 is available with an Intel Core i5-13420H or i7-1335U or AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 CPU in Nepal. It’s an octa-core processor with 4 performance + 4 efficiency cores with a base 45W TDP. On the memory front, this laptop includes 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5200MHz in a dual-channel configuration. Although you can also upgrade that to up to 64GB via the two SO-DIMM slots if you want.
It’s also got two M.2 2280 slots (also compatible with M.2 2242) that can accept up to 2TB of storage each. While the default configuration gets you a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Battery and others
Powering the laptop is a 60Wh battery paired which charges via a 100W USB-C adapter that you get inside the box.
For connectivity, there are two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (one Always On), a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI 2.1, an Ethernet jack, an SD card reader, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. Wireless options include WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
