Motorola has been consistently releasing phones under its Moto G series. Now they have added another member to the series in Nepal. This time with a new MediaTek chipset straight out of the foundry. This article will discuss the Moto G64 5G in further detail, including its official price in Nepal.
You get a 6.5-inch display on the front with an IPS LCD panel. Additionally, it spans FHD+ in resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Moto G64 5G screen is surrounded by sizable bezels, especially on the chin area. It is available in three finishes: Mint Green, Pearl Blue, and Ice Lilac.
Other than that, this phone ships in two configurations. The lower one comprises 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Meanwhile, the higher configuration comes with 12 gigs of memory and 256 gigs of internal storage. Both variants support up to 1TB of external storage. On the software side, the Moto G64 5G boots on Android 14 with My UX on top. The company promises one OS update and three years of security patches on this phone.
Powering the entire system is a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 30W TurboPower charging. The phone, however, ships with a 33W charger in the box. You get a dual speaker as well as a dual microphone setup on the Moto G64 5G. In the meantime, it comes with a hybrid SIM slot while eSIM support is region-specific. The wireless connectivity on the phone includes 5G cellular, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth v5.3, and six-way navigation. It unsurprisingly misses out on NFC support though. Finally, for wired connections, you get a USB 2.0 Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Camera and the rest
In the optics department, it comes with a dual camera setup on the back while having a single front-facing camera. The rear camera includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, coupled with an eight-megapixel ultrawide shooter. The main camera uses Quad Pixel technology due to which the effective resolution of the camera changes to 12.5MP. Meanwhile, the auxiliary lens on the Moto G64 5G also doubles down as a macro shooter.
