The newest entry in Xiaomi’s “Redmi 9” series in Nepal is the Redmi 9C. With the gaming-oriented Helio G35 SoC and triple rear camera setup, it goes head-to-head against the Realme C11. Here, the G35 has been paired with either 2 or 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM and either 32/64GB of internal storage. Redmi 9C has a dedicated micro SD card slot so you can retain dual-SIM functionality even when you’ve inserted a memory card.

Redmi 9C runs on the latest MIUI 12 out of the box. Coming to the display, you’re getting a 6.53-inches HD+ IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch for the 5MP selfie camera. Redmi 9 features a 6.53-inch FHD IPS panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a splash-proof nano-coating. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it has a waterdrop notch for the 8MP AI selfie camera. The back of the phone has a textured finish. There is a left-aligned rectangular camera bump for the quad-camera setup. The setup consists of a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and two additional 2MP sensors.

The Redmi Note 9 is the cheaper variant of the Note 9 Pro. It is the first phone to feature MediaTek’s Helio G85, which is a gaming-centric chipset aimed at budget-conscious enthusiasts. The design of Note 9 is quite similar to its Pro variant.

The primary 64MP camera uses Samsung’s GW1 sensor. The camera features include RAW photography, Pro Colour, Night mode, and the 21:9 frame support.

The device uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G. It is the same SoC that we saw earlier in the Realme 6 Pro. And it comes with Qualcomm’s Elite Gaming features for a better gaming experience. Users can choose between 6 and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Both of the variants come with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 678 chipset and comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The rear camera setup consists of a 48MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and two additional sensors.

Fueling the device is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Other features include IP53 rating, an IR blaster, Hi-Res audio, stereo speaker, and Android 11.

10. Xiaomi Mi A3

Xiaomi Mi A3 is the successor to the last year’s Mi A2. It’s the only Xiaomi smartphone in Nepal to feature a Stock version of Android OS out of the box. The phone comes with an HD display, which is quite a downgrade from Mi A1 and Mi A2, which had a Full-HD display. That being said, it does have a superior AMOLED panel with a fingerprint scanner embedded underneath.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 665 processor, which is just a slight upgrade over the SD 660 on Mi A2. But what Xiaomi really upgraded with the Mi A3 is the camera. The phone flaunts a triple camera setup on the back. In addition to the primary 48MP camera, there’s a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens here.

And being an Android One phone, Xiaomi promised regular security and firmware updates on the Mi A3. However, the company has failed to provide the phone with timely updates. Mi A3 is still running on Android 9 and recently was pulled out of the Android 10 program. Because of this very reason, the Redmi Note 8 Pro would be a way better option as it offers a higher resolution display and better software support.

11. Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite 

Xiaomi Mi note 10 Lite The new Mi Note 10 Lite is the latest mid-range phone from Xiaomi to launch in Nepal. Although it has an inferior Snapdragon 730G chipset as opposed to the Redmi K20 Pro, the Mi Note 10 Lite has other niceties of its own. You get a 3D curved AMOLED display, a big 5260mAh battery, and 30W fast charging. Like the Redmi K20 Pro, it comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner too.

The Mi Note 10 Lite also has a quad-camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Similarly, there is that dated dewdrop notch which houses a 16MP selfie camera. In terms of memory, Mi Note 10 Lite is available in a single 6/128GB memory configuration.

12. Xiaomi Mi 10
