The Redmi Note 9 Pro is the latest Note series smartphone from Xiaomi and is the successor to the Note 8 Pro. It offers the new Snapdragon 720G which is based on an energy-efficient 8nm lithography. Although it is not as good as the Helio G90T of Note 8 Pro, the 720G offers better battery backup and thermal performance.

On the back, we get a quad-camera setup of 48MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor. The display has a center-lying punch hole wherein sits a 16MP selfie shooter. The display is a big 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with a FullHD+ resolution. In terms of memory, the variant that’s launched in Nepal comes with 6GB of DDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It runs on Android 10 out of the box with MIUI 11 on top.

11. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, the most expensive device in the Note 9 lineup, comes with Aura Balance Design. It sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a FullHD+ resolution. The device has a single camera on the front and the display and a standard 60Hz panel. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a 64MP quad-camera setup on the back. The primary 64MP camera uses Samsung’s GW1 sensor. The camera features include RAW photography, Pro Colour, Night mode, and the 21:9 frame support.

The device uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G. It is the same SoC that we saw earlier in the Realme 6 Pro. And it comes with Qualcomm’s Elite Gaming features for the better gaming experience. Users can choose between 6 and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Both of the variants come with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage

12. Xiaomi Mi A3

Xiaomi Mi A3 is the successor to the last year’s Mi A2. It’s the only Xiaomi smartphone in Nepal to feature a Stock version of Android OS out of the box. The phone comes with an HD display, which is quite a downgrade from Mi A1 and Mi A2, which had a Full-HD display. That being said, it does have a superior AMOLED panel with a fingerprint scanner embedded underneath.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 665 processor, which is just a slight upgrade over the SD 660 on Mi A2. But what Xiaomi really upgraded with the Mi A3 is the camera. The phone flaunts a triple camera setup on the back. In addition to the primary 48MP camera, there’s a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens here.

And being an Android one phone, Xiaomi promised regular security and firmware updates on the Mi A3. However, the company has failed to provide the phone with timely updates. Mi A3 is still running on Android 9 and recently was pulled out of the Android 10 program. Because of this very reason, the Redmi Note 8 Pro would be a way better option as it offers a higher resolution display and better software support.

Although it has an inferior Snapdragon 730G chipset as opposed to the Redmi K20 Pro, the Mi Note 10 Lite has other niceties of its own. You get a 3D curved AMOLED display, a big 5260mAh battery, and 30W fast charging. Like the Redmi K20 Pro, it comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner too.

The Mi Note 10 Lite also has a quad-camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.
