2. Xiaomi Redmi 9C

The newest entry in Xiaomi’s “Redmi 9” series in Nepal is the Redmi 9C. With the gaming-oriented Helio G35 SoC and triple rear camera setup, it goes head-to-head against the Realme C11. Here, the G35 has been paired with either 2 or 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM and either 32/64GB of internal storage. Redmi 9C has a dedicated micro SD card slot so you can retain dual-SIM functionality even when you’ve inserted a memory card.

Redmi 9C runs on the latest MIUI 12 out of the box. Coming to the display, you’re getting a 6.53-inches HD+ IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch for the 5MP selfie camera. At the back, you have the triple camera setup and an LED flash inside a square module. There’s a 13MP primary lens, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. Redmi 10A which is available in Nepal is the global variant. Xiaomi even sells the Indian variant in Nepal but under the Redmi 10 moniker. Redmi 10A in question is basically the same device but with some downgrades.

Redmi 10 available in Nepal is quite different from the one found in the international market. The Nepali variant is powered by the Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, which is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, the waterdrop notch houses a 5MP selfie camera.

Redmi 10 PrimeRedmi 10 Prime 2022 is the same phone as the last year’s Redmi 10 Prime. So, there’s a less-to-no difference in terms of design and specifications between the two. It brings a 6.5-inch LCD FHD+ panel with 90Hz adaptive sync. The punch-hole cutout at the center is home to an 8MP selfie camera.

At the back, the phone has a quad-camera setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.

On the other hand, Helio G96 is a 4G chipset which makes it less appealing than the Snapdragon 695 5G on the Pro 5G model.
