Motorola unveiled the Moto Sound Flow at CES 2026, and this is the company's first standalone portable speaker. The speaker features sound tuning by Bose, 30W output power, and a combination of a dedicated woofer, dedicated tweeter, and so much more. This article will discuss everything about the Moto Sound Flow, including its specifications and availability. Let's get into the details.

      Motorola Moto Sound Flow Overview

      Audio and Design

Starting, the Moto sound flow delivers 30W output power through a dedicated woofer, a dedicated tweeter, and dual passive radiators. The speaker is tuned by Bose and Motorola rather positions this as a speaker for everyday normal listening rather than something you can use it in a party. The speaker features a twill-textured fabric finish and comes in two Pantone-curated colors: PANTONE Carbon and PANTONE Warm Taupe.

      Battery and Durability

The Moto Sound Flow packs a 6,000mAh battery but they haven't specified exact playback hours yet. But if we were to make an educated guess, then the speaker can definitely hit anywhere from 10-20 hours. There is also an IP67 rating that protects against dust and water immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

      Smart Features and UWB

The Moto sound flow includes Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology for automatic audio switching. When a compatible phone comes close to the speaker, music or calls automatically switch to the speaker without manual pairing.

The speaker also supports Dynamic Stereo when paired with a second Moto Sound Flow. According to them, the two speakers will automatically be able to adjust left and right channels based on the phone's position.

      App Features

The Moto Sound Flow app also includes “Quick Switch” feature that can be used for gesture-based audio transfer from phones or Moto Buds, and you get a really interesting feature, that is the RoomShift, which moves audio to the nearest speaker as you move between rooms. Both features require compatible Motorola devices and the app, which supports Android and iOS. Now, for connectivity, the Moto Sound Flow supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.
