Motorola Edge 70 Fusion launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC

Motorola has officially launched the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion at Mobile World Congress (MWC). This midrange guy boasts a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC and a 7000mAh battery inside. In this article, I will discuss everything about the latest Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Overview 

Display and Design

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion carries forward Motorola’s signature Edge design language, featuring a slim, curved body that feels both premium and comfortable in hand. Likewise, it features a large, curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a slim bezel, delivering smooth scrolling, vibrant colour, and deep contrast at a 1272 x 2772 resolution. It also has a 144Hz refresh rate, making everyday phone use smoother.

Moving to the design side, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a clean, lightweight build with a streamlined rear panel that neatly integrates the camera modules. Despite its large 6.78-inch display, the device remains relatively balanced in thehand and does not feel overly bulky.

It features a soft-touch rear finish that enhances grip while minimizing visible fingerprints. In terms of durability, the phone is certified to MIL-STD-810H standards, along with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Performance and Software

This time, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has chosen the Qualcomm SM7635 Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (4 nm) paired with an octa-core processor internationally. Whereas in the Indian variant, it will reportedly be Qualcomm SM7635-AC Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 (4 nm) paired with an Octa-core processor, set to release, per leaks. This resolves the previous issue of confusion caused by the leak spec sheet for Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. 

Memory-wise, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with the option to expand memory. Talking about the software, Motorola Edge 70 Fusion hits the ground running with Android 16 pre-installed, offering 3 major Android upgrades.

Camera and Battery

As mentioned earlier, this time the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion comes with a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA primary sensor paired with a 13 MP ultra-wide lens, which is useful for macro and depth shots. Both also support 4k video recording, offering features like panorama, HDR, and OIS for steadier, sharper footage. 

Likewise, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 32-megapixel front camera that also supports 4K video recording.

Moving towards the battery, this time Motorola Edge 70 Fusion comes with a huge 7,000mAh capacity silicon-carbon battery with a sleek, thin design of 7.99mm. This capacity is about 46% more than that of Edge 70’s which was 4800mAh previously. It supports 68W fast wired charging, helping with quick refueling and staying connected without a long wait, despite its big battery capacity.
