
Nothing, a brand that has rapidly gained a strong foothold in the smartphone market, is preparing to launch yet another device in its growing lineup. After the success of its previous releases, including the Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2, the Nothing Phone (3a) is also arriving pretty soon. Nothing has officially tested the launch event of Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Plus. It is occurring on March 4th, 2025.
Design and Performance
One of Nothing’s standout features is its distinctive design with transparent backs and integrated LED strips. And this guy is expected to continue this design tradition. We’ll also get to see a 120Hz AMOLED panel too.
On the performance front, this phone will make a significant leap. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, which is an upgrade over the previous MediaTek chipsets used in earlier models. This 4nm fabbed chip from Qualcomm brings in one prime Cortex-A720 at 2.5GHz, three Cortex-A720 at 2.4GHz, and four Cortex-A520 at 1.8GHz frequency. It will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software side, the Nothing Phone (3a) will boot on NothingOS 3.1 built on top of Android 15.

Camera and Features
In terms of optics, this smartphone will push things further this time by adding a third lens, a 50MP telephoto camera, in addition to the standard 50MP wide and 8MP ultra-wide cameras.
Besides all the improvements, for the first time, Nothing users will get a phone without eSIM support.
Other variants
Alongside the Nothing Phone (3a), two other variants are expected to be released: the Nothing Phone (3a) Plus and the CMF Phone 2. The (3a) Plus will share the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset as the base model but will feature a periscope zoom camera. Meanwhile, the CMF Phone 2 will feature a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
