      Nothing in Nepal: Brand Overview

Nothing is a very young brand founded in 2021 by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. It sprang into the limelight overnight because of its unique transparent aesthetic and design-centric products. The brand has unveiled three phones so far, alongside a few accessories and wearables under the CMF tag. Its offerings are mainly targeted at Gen Z and Gen Alpha, who seek innovation in technology. A striking design paired with fluid software to make smartphones fun again! The brand made its first entry into Nepal in April 2023.

      1. CMF Phone 2 Pro

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is the second offering from the Nothing subbrand. This midrange phone bears some impressive specs and a unique design, of course. Talking of the latter, you still get a modular body with some screws and a nice-looking camera module on top.

      CMF Phone 2 Pro Design

Nothing ships this guy in three colors: Black, Orange, and White. Likewise, you get a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout. Powering the things from the core is the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chipset, the same SoC from the CMF Phone (1). It's paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, there is a new 50MP 2x telephoto unit for portraits, followed by a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide unit.

      2. Nothing Phone 3a Lite

The Phone 3a Lite is the latest entry in the Nepalese market. As the name implies, it's a Lite version of the Phone 3a, but moreover, it's a CMF Phone 2 Pro with a Nothing body, while the specs remain the same. So, you get a reliable Dimensity 7300 Pro powering the core and a 5000mAh cell with 33W fast charging. But the optics side gets a downgrade as there is no telephoto lens here; instead, you are getting a useless macro unit. Apart from that, the main camera is a 50MP shooter with OIS, and the other one is an 8MP ultrawide unit.

      3. Nothing Phone (2a) Plus

The Phone (2a) Plus is an improvised version of the standard Phone (2a), as if the naming wasn't obvious. First up, Nothing has bumped up the performance here by providing the Mediatek Dimensity 7350 SoC, which is more powerful than the Dimensity 7200 Pro on the vanilla version. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

      Nothing Phone 2a Rear

Design-wise, it still looks unique with a unique owl-like appearance on the rear, similar to its predecessor. The back showcases the same glyph pattern that has become a signature of the brand. Additionally, the color has also been updated to a sleek, metallic grey-looking design. Meanwhile, you get a dual camera setup here with a 50MP main camera (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide unit. Lastly, the phone gets its juice from a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

      4. Nothing Phone (4a)

The Nothing Phone (4a) carries the transparent vibe from its predecessors, albeit with a new change. The Glyph lights from the past have now transformed into the Glyph bar, resting at the right side of the camera module. It still functions similarly, though, with signal notifications, incoming calls, charging progress, and even camera timers, providing useful alerts without constantly turning on the display.

      Nothing Phone 4a Casual

The rest of the features also sound interesting; you get a 1.5K res 6.78-inch AMOLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. As for the camera, it sports a 3.5x periscope lens for the first time ever on a base (a) series phone, a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. Likewise, it gets its fuel from a 5080mAh battery with 50W fast wired charging support.

      Nothing Phone (4a) Specifications:

      • Display: 6.78-inch OLED screen, 1.5K, 120Hz refresh rate, 4500nits peak brightness

      5. Nothing Phone (4a) Pro

The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro bids farewell to the transparent signature mark of Nothing, and it goes all in for an all-metal build. But the Glyph Matrix from the Phone (3) is here to stay next to the triple-camera module, giving it a completely refreshing vibe. The display side is also pretty pleasant, stretching at 6.83 inches with 1.5K resolution and a fast 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling with HDR 10+ support and 2160Hz PWM dimming for strain-free eyes.

Nothing Phone 4a Pro Design and Display

For performance, you get a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Likewise, the camera setup houses a 50MP main Sony LYT 700C unit, a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide unit. 6. Nothing Phone (3)

The Nothing Phone (3) is the "flagship" phone by the British company, which launched after a two-year wait. The Phone, with its unconventional design, has managed to create a spectacle that has left people both amused and unsettled. Nonetheless, Nothing Phone (3) does come with various upgrades, including a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and a new telephoto camera. The phone features a 6.67-inch LTPS OLED display and comes with Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5 out of the box. But unlike before, Nothing has promised to provide 5 years of software upgrades for its latest flagship. The phone now comes with IP68 dust and water resistance, Wifi 7, and an eSIM.
