Nubia Z70 Ultra launched with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset!

Display and Design

The Nubia Z70 Ultra features a 6.85-inch AMOLED display made by BOE. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The screen resolution is 1,216 x 2,688 pixels, including slim bezels measuring just 1.25mm. Additionally, the device comes with an optical under-display fingerprint scanner and an under-display selfie camera.

The Z70 Ultra is dust and water-resistant and has an IP69 rating. It also supports two-way satellite communication.

Performance

This smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is the latest and greatest flagship chip from Qualcomm. The phone has a 6,150mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 80W fast charging. It runs on Nebula AIOS, which is based on Android 15.

Camera System

On the back, it boasts a versatile triple-camera setup, featuring a 50MP main sensor with variable aperture, a 64MP periscope lens offering 2.7x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus. The phone even includes a dedicated camera button, letting you focus with a half-press and capture shots with a full press.

The front houses a 16MP under-display selfie camera. In addition, it introduces a new camera button, allowing half-press for focus and full-press for capturing photos.

For those interested in options, the Z70 Ultra comes in several configurations, starting with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage priced at CNY 4,599. You can go all the way up to the 24GB RAM and 1TB storage model for CNY 6,299. It’s available in Black, Amber, and a unique Starry Night Blue, inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s famous painting. When it makes it here, we expect its price in Nepal to start at no less than NPR 110,000

The phone is already up for pre-order in China, with shipments kicking off on November 25. A global release is also lined up for November 26, so it won’t be long before it’s available elsewhere.
