Camera and Battery
A leak from Digital Chat Station on Weibo reveals the rumored OnePlus 13, featuring a redesigned camera module compared to its predecessors. The upcoming flagship is said to have an upgraded periscope sensor and will use the same image processing algorithm as the Oppo Find X8 series. Reports suggest the OnePlus 13 will feature a 50MP primary camera (Sony LYT-808, f/1.6), a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Moreover, the new model will likely feature a 6.82-inch 8T LTPO display with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels. Given that the OnePlus 12 came with a 5400 mAh battery, an upgrade to around 6000 mAh seems likely for the successor. However, the charging capabilities may remain the same, with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
OnePlus 13 Launch Date and Availability
While the predecessor, the OnePlus 12 debuted in December of last year, the OnePlus 13 is set to break from tradition with an earlier release. This time, we can expect the OnePlus 13 to make its debut by the end of October or the beginning of November. Initially, it will launch in China before making its way to global markets.
