OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite launching soon with Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 went official just a while ago. And its Lite version's rumors are also surfacing online. Dubbed the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, this midrange phone will pack a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 5G SoC. In this article, we'll walk through the rumored specs and leaks of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite.

The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 is said to be a rebrand of the Oppo K12x. If it goes true, you'll find identical specs which I'm gonna discuss below.

Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC

As per the leaks, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite might house a newly announced 5G SoC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, a rebranded version of the Snapdragon 695 SoC of the Oppo K12x. This 6nm fabbed silicon boasts two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.3GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz. Handling the graphics chore here is an Adreno 619 GPU. With this chipset, the upcoming CE 4 Lite should offer a significant CPU and GPU boost over the Snapdragon 695 chip, used on its predecessor. We can expect 8GB of RAM paired with 128/256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the software side will be covered by OxygenOS 14 built on top of Android 14.

Design and Display

As it's going to be an Oppo K12x rebrand, the design side of things will go strikingly similar. A flat middle frame, a hole-punch display, and a pill-shaped camera module on the back! As for the display, OnePlus is likely to go for an AMOLED panel this time from an LCD on its predecessor. It will bear a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 1200nits HBM, 494 PPI pixel density, and Dragontrail-Star 2 display protection.  

Camera, Battery, and Others

In terms of optics, we will see a dual camera setup, probably with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensing unit. Meanwhile, fueling the upcoming phone will be a 5500mAh battery with 67W of wired fast charging support. Connectivity features will include 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
