Oppo A18 gets a price slash in Nepal

Oppo doesn’t seem to stop launching budget A-series phones. The brand unveiled the Oppo A18 smartphone a while ago with Helio G85 chipset, 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen, and more. And it has received a price drop too. Without further ado, let’s head into the specs, features, and official price of the Oppo A18 in Nepal.

Design and Display

Design-wise, the Oppo A18 bears identicality to its predecessor, the Oppo A17. You get a similar design here with a waterdrop notch screen, plastic frame, and glossy plastic pack. Also, the frame is a flat one with slightly curved edges. Oppo ships this guy in two shade options: Glowing Blue and Glowing Black.

Getting to the display, you get a 6.56-inch LCD screen. This HD+ display boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and supports 100% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB color gamut.

Performance

Under the hood, the Oppo A18 is powered by a Mediatek Helio G85 SoC. This 12nm fabbed silicon supports 4G connectivity and features two Cortex-A75 cores at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz. Handling the graphics here is a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. Oppo has paired the chip with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Likewise, booting the phone is ColorOS 13.1 built on top of Android 13.

Camera

Talking of the optics, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup on its back. The primary camera is an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and AF while the secondary one is a 2MP mono camera. Over on the front, there is a 5MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Moving on, the smartphone gets its fuel from a 5000mAh battery. Oppo has not disclosed the charging speed on the official site. It’s likely going to be a 10W charging support. Moreover, the connectivity options include WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. For biometrics security, you get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power key.
