Oppo Find X9s series goes official with flagship Dimensity chips and a massive 7,025mAh battery!

Extending its flagship X series, Oppo has globally introduced Find X9s, along with the Find X9 Ultra, where Find X9s Pro is exclusive to China for now. Both phones feature a camera system co-developed with Hasselblad, with the Pro model using a high-resolution 200MP main camera and aperiscope telephoto camera, just like its Ultra variant, and a massive 7,025mAh battery. So without further ado, in this article, I’m going to discuss everything you would like to know about Find X9s and Find X9s Pro, including their specs, features, availability, and expected price in Nepal.

Oppo Find X9s and Find X9s Pro Overview:

Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Oppo Find X9s and Find X9s Pro share a compact, premium aesthetic with an ultra-thin bezel and durable, textured glass build. While they are similar in design, you will find the Pro model to be notably smaller and more rugged, compared to the Find X9s variant. Likewise, the Oppo Find X9s measures 7.99mm thick and weighs 202g, whereas the Find X9s Pro has 8.4mm and weighs around 200g. 

Both models feature a triple-camera setup on a “squicircle” camera module, where the lenses are arranged in a triangular shape on the back. They also include a physical Snap Key on the side frame for easy access to the camera, AI tools, or other modes, and have an IP66/68/69 rating for dust-tight and water resistance.

Moving on to the display, the Oppo Find X9s has a large 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with 1256 x 2760 pixel resolution, 10-bit color depth, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, which offers vibrant images and videos. Its panel also supports a fast 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring a smooth, snappy experience. In terms of brightness, the screen reaches up to 3600 nits, making it perfect for use even in direct sunlight. 

Whereas the Find X9s Pro features a slightly smaller 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2640 x 1216. The display has similar color accuracy to the X9s, but here we get a much faster 144Hz refresh rate for specific gaming titles, while for casual use, you are still capped at 120Hz. For brightness, we get 1800 nits of peak brightness. Additionally, the Find X9s comes with Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and the Pro has Corning Gorilla Glass protection for durability.

Camera

Both Find X9s and X9s Pro differ in terms of camera, however, they have the same triple camera setup. Talking about the Oppo Find X9s first, you get a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS, and another 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus on the rear. 

Moving to the Find X9s Pro, it comes with a much better Samsung HPE 200MP main sensor with OIS, a Samsung HP5 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and lastly, a Samsung JN5 50MP ultrawide sensor with support for autofocus. Both phones feature a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.  

Just like the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, both devices include Hasselblad Master mode, offering nine native film styles, such as “Gentle Light” for portraits and “Rich” for street photography. Additionally, the Find X9S Pro supports up to 120x digital zoom and is also compatible with a dedicated Hasselblad teleconverter kit for improved image and video quality. 

Performance and Battery 

Under the hood, both models are powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 900 series manufactured on the same 3nm node. The Find X9s Pro ships with Dimensity 9500, offering top-of-the-line performance, whereas the X9s ships the Dimensity 9500s processor for better efficiency and thermal stability during gaming. 

Talking about memory, the Oppo Find X9s is paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, likewise, the Find X9 Pro configures up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage. 

For the battery, both phones pack a 7,025mAh battery paired with 80W wired charging. Here, the Pro variant also supports 50W of wireless charging. On the software side, they run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Both phones are said to receive at least 5 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patch updates.

As said above, the Find X9s is available globally, while the X9s Pro is exclusive to China. In Malaysia, the Oppo Find X9s is priced at RM 3,599 for the 12/512GB variant, whereas the Pro model starts at CNY 5,299 for the 12/512GB in China. If the Oppo Find X9s were to launch in Nepal, you can expect the price to be around NPR 136,499 and the X9s Pro to be at NPR 116,499, respectively.
